Job Summary

Spotlight Staff is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to help minimize downtime and keep operations running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with experience in electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and industrial machinery .

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment

  • Repair and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and other mechanical components

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, sensors, switches, relays, and control components

  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Replace or repair defective parts and components

  • Perform equipment installations, adjustments, and changeovers as needed

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings

  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime

  • Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs

  • Inspect equipment to identify potential problems before failures occur

  • Assist with facility maintenance as needed

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and organized work area

  • Follow all OSHA, lockout/tagout, PPE, and company safety procedures

  • Communicate equipment issues and repair status with supervisors and production teams

  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Knowledge of motors, bearings, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment

  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals

  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus

  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, and work in tight spaces

  • Ability to lift and move equipment, tools, and materials as required

  • Comfortable working around machinery, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions

  • Ability to safely work from ladders or elevated areas when required

  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
