True North Urgent Care Radiology Technologist – Traverse City, MI – Full Time We are seeking a highly motivated Radiology Technologist to join our growing team as a contingent/prn status. Our ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of clinical competence with previous urgent care or ambulatory clinic experience. Job Responsibilities Perform quality x-rays using proper positioning and radiation safety measures. Ensure patient, staff, and self safety by following radiation exposure protocols. Maintain and file all x-ray paperwork accurately. Understand and operate x-ray equipment effectively. Assist in patient care by obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for exams and treatments, and administering medications as directed. Conduct point of care lab testing and phlebotomy procedures. Sterilize instruments, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of treatment areas. Collaborate with medical providers and clinic staff to deliver high-quality care. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional atmosphere. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensed to practice in Diagnostic Radiography by the Michigan Department of Environmental Protection. Minimum of one year clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient medical clinic preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
