About the Role

Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking an outgoing, motivated, and results-driven Client Relationship Manager to grow and strengthen our presence in the Tampa Bay multifamily apartment industry.

This position is ideal for a relationship builder who enjoys meeting new people, networking, developing business opportunities, and maintaining strong client partnerships.

The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for generating new business, expanding existing accounts, conducting regular property visits, and building relationships with apartment communities and property management companies throughout the Tampa Bay market.

Our goal is to create lasting partnerships, increase staffing opportunities for our team members, and become a trusted staffing resource for the multifamily industry.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the multifamily apartment industry.
• Build relationships with Property Managers, Regional Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct cold calls, email outreach, in-person visits, and follow-ups to generate new accounts.
• Meet established daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity and business development goals.
• Develop strategies to increase market presence, client engagement, and revenue growth.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activity within the CRM system.

Client Relationships & Property Visits

• Conduct weekly on-site visits to existing clients and prospective apartment communities, consistently meeting established site visit metrics.
• Maintain strong relationships with current clients to encourage repeat business and client retention.
• Identify staffing needs and uncover new job orders for our recruiting team.
• Proactively follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional staffing opportunities.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with recruiters and internal teams to coordinate staffing needs, candidate submissions, interviews, and successful placements.

Industry Networking & Community Engagement

• Actively participate in local Apartment Association events, including industry meetings, trade shows, educational seminars, and networking functions.
• Attend evening networking events, industry mixers, and other professional gatherings as needed.
• Represent Essential Staffing Solutions professionally while building brand awareness throughout the Tampa Bay multifamily community.
• Establish and strengthen connections with property management companies, apartment industry professionals, and industry partners.
• Stay informed about local multifamily market trends, new apartment developments, and upcoming staffing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Staffing industry sales or business development experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates must have either staffing sales experience or previous on-site multifamily apartment industry experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales, business development, account management, or relevant multifamily industry experience preferred.
• Existing relationships within the Tampa Bay multifamily industry are a strong plus.
• Outgoing, personable, confident, and comfortable initiating conversations and building professional relationships.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop accounts, and achieve measurable business development goals.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable conducting cold calls, visiting apartment communities, and networking with industry professionals.
• Ability and willingness to attend occasional evening events and industry functions.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a field-based sales environment.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales technology.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Tampa Bay market.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
