Registered Nurse-Pediatrics ICU

Overview Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Pediatrics ICU within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Pediatric ICU RN, you will provide high-acuity, family-centered care to critically ill and injured infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for pediatric ICU patients. Administer medications and treatments and closely monitor patients using advanced equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion devices. Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and a multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe, evidence-based care and optimal patient outcomes. Provide education, clear communication, and emotional support to families during highly stressful and complex situations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record and adhere to clinical protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety initiatives. Participate in quality improvement projects, clinical education, and ongoing professional development.
