Warehouse/Events Manager

Miel Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee catering company providing elevated coffee experiences for weddings, corporate events, brand activations, and private gatherings throughout the DMV. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on Warehouse & Events Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, event logistics, inventory management, and field execution.

The Warehouse & Events Manager is responsible for ensuring every Miel Coffee Co. event is executed seamlessly from preparation through completion. This role combines warehouse management, logistics coordination, equipment maintenance, inventory oversight, and onsite event leadership.

This position requires someone who enjoys both behind-the-scenes operations and working directly at events. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, solution-focused, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage day-to-day warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Maintain inventory of coffee, syrups, cups, milk, event supplies, and equipment
• Track inventory levels and submit purchasing requests
• Receive and organize deliveries
• Install event customizations
• Maintain warehouse systems and storage procedures
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and event-ready

• Prepare equipment and supplies for upcoming events
• Create and manage event packing lists
• Coordinate loading and unloading of company vehicles
• Maintain event schedules and logistics calendars
• Ensure all event materials are accounted for before and after each event

• Lead onsite event setup and breakdown
• Manage event staff and baristas during service
• Pick up shifts that are not scheduled with regular staff
• Serve as primary point of contact onsite for clients when needed
• Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Drive company vehicles and transport equipment to events

• Train and support baristas and event staff
• Assist with hiring and onboarding
• Maintain operational standards and service quality
• Foster a positive and professional team culture

• Perform routine maintenance on espresso machines, grinders, tap systems, carts, and related equipment
• Coordinate repairs when necessary
• Track maintenance schedules and equipment needs

• 2+ years of experience in operations, hospitality, events, warehouse management, or related field
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lift and move 65+ pounds regularly
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Comfortable driving cargo vans and transporting equipment
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work weekends and occasional early mornings/evenings

• Specialty coffee or food & beverage experience
• Experience managing inventory systems
• Event production or catering experience
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments
