Accounting Associate

Seachrist & Associates, A.C. is located near Oglebay Park in Wheeling, WV. We have served the community for over 30 years. We primarily do tax preparation but also handle general bookkeeping, payroll services, and consulting. Role Description This is a full-time position with an average of 35 hours a week, on-site role for an Accounting Assistant located in Ohio County, WV. There is a possibility of overtime during tax season. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the accounting and payroll team by managing monthly bookkeeping tasks utilizing common accounting software in the industry. Other responsibilities include the weekly payroll work and assisting the tax partners with gathering, organizing, and communicating with clients during tax season. Must be willing to use new AI software available in the industry. Qualifications Proficiency in common online accounting software Knowledge of accounting terms: trial balance, general ledger, financial statements Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
