Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Detroit, MI. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a hospital setting. This role involves patient assessment, treatment planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and students, and documentation in accordance with department policy.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
Experience working in an acute care or hospital environment preferred.
Ability to perform patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide family/caregiver training.
Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students preferred.

Assignment Details
Part-time schedule: 4 shifts per week with 5 shifts in rotation (4x5).
May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
