HOUSEKEEPER UTILITY (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full time HOUSEKEEPER UTILITY positions. Location: University of Tennessee Medical Center - 1924 Alcoa Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedules. 7:00 a - 3:30 pm, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, and 6:00 pm - 2:30 am, days may vary. Further details upon interview. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and services cleaning equipment. Stocks cleaning carts with supplies. Maintains cleanliness and organization in storeroom and closets. Collects, transports, and disposes of trash, bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols. Fixes and maintains cleaning equipment. Identifies potential safety hazards and acts accordingly. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time. Ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds. Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English. Mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment. Great communication skills.
