Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical / Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM or 12 Hour AM-PM Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: - Experience managing chest tubes - Proficient with drips such as diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Knowledge of lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Experience with tracheostomies and laryngectomies - Proficient in telemetry and care for complex wounds - Experience in central line care, maintenance, and blood draws Description: Seeking a MedSurg RN for the Hem-Oncology Inpatient Unit. This unit consists of 24 beds for hematology, oncology, gynecologic oncology, and medical-surgical patients. Additionally, there are 9 beds dedicated to hematology and cellular therapy. The RN will administer chemotherapy and manage side effects for patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes. Common diagnoses include lymphoma, leukemia, and ovarian cancers. On-call duty is required.
