Airport Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Supervisor

AARF Supervisor The AARF Supervisor oversees fire prevention, suppression, and emergency response at all City of Dayton Aviation facilities. They direct operations to minimize loss of life and property, ensure emergency medical and rescue services are provided when needed, including care for aircraft passengers and crew. The incumbent will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fire Science or related field AND 4 years firefighting experience, with at least 1 year Aircraft Rescue Firefighter experience; Associate degree in Fire Science, Public Administration, Business Management, Emergency Medical Services or related field AND 4 years firefighting experience, with at least 3 years Aircraft Rescue Firefighter experience; H.S. Diploma (or G.E.D) AND 8 years Aircraft Rescue Firefighter experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in all approved GGMVEMSC medical care techniques required.
