About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for AI Transformation within the Office of the CAIO. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading AI-native transformation initiatives across various business domains, from the initial concept to full adoption and value realization. This role involves partnering with business, technology, and functional leaders to redesign workflows and operating models, as well as defining and executing transformation portfolios based on business value and organizational readiness. The Executive Director will also be tasked with establishing standards for AI architecture, governance, and ensuring that AI solutions are secure, scalable, and user-centric. Additionally, the role requires the development and management of business cases, value realization plans, and investment strategies for AI transformation initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 15 years' experience in technology, digital, AI, data, enterprise strategy, transformation, or operations leadership, with a proven track record of delivering measurable business results. A deep operator experience in specific business domains and a strong background in leading multi-disciplinary teams are essential. The ideal candidate will have an MBA or a related technical degree, and experience in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals. The role demands a leader with deep AI expertise, recognized thought leadership in AI or digital transformation, and a strong financial discipline in business cases and investment decisions. Executive-level communication skills, the ability to influence without relying on hierarchy, and a high personal standard for outcomes are also required.
