Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their personal functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide thorough, holistic treatment
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families through therapeutic techniques to ensure progress continues beyond the clinic
• Track Clinical Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients advancing towards success

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by the appropriate body
• Encouragement and support for continued education and advanced certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
