Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project ManagerFreedom Real Estate is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist with the management of all aspects of a construction project from start to finish across multiple business lines (Development, Advisory Services, and Construction).As an Assistant Project Manager your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:Assist in coordinating project activities, schedules, and timelines to support the Project ManagerMonitor project progress and update tracking tools to ensure tasks stay on schedulePrepare and distribute project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and logsSupport communication between project teams, subcontractors, and clients as directedAssist in maintaining project budgets by tracking costs and reporting discrepanciesEnsure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards on-siteConduct basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document managementParticipate in project meetings and provide follow-up support on action itemsAid in resolving minor project issues and escalate larger concerns to the Project ManagerAssist with site inspections and report findings to ensure alignment with project plansMaintain organized project records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessibleReview submittals and shop drawings for completeness and accuracyAssist the Preconstruction Manager with estimating, subcontractor bidding, and procurementReview and approve subcontractor/supplier pay applicationsRequired Qualifications:U.S. CitizenshipBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field0-5 years of experience assisting with construction project managementBasic proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control principlesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contractsFamiliarity with quality and health and safety standards.
