1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Overview We’re looking for an Project Controller to join our team in Huntsville, AL . This role plays a critical part in project cost control, financial reconciliation, and audit readiness , especially in a government contracting and manufacturing setting. This position is onsite only (no hybrid/remote), with a 9/80 schedule available after 90 days . What You’ll Do Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger across multi-year projects Manage Deltek Costpoint project and materials modules Prepare adjusting entries & maintain audit-ready documentation Support audits (DCAA/DCMA/internal) and compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS Analyze budgets, indirect cost allocations, and project burn rates Oversee AP coding and alignment with CLINs and project budgets Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, Contracts, and Supply Chain Improve internal processes and documentation Experience with government billing processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years in GovCon cost accounting or project controls 3+ years hands-on Deltek Costpoint experience (Projects & Materials) Strong grasp of FAR, DFARS, CAS , indirect rate structures Experience reconciling legacy financial data and resolving discrepancies Understanding of T&M, CPFF, and FFP contract types Exposure to BOMs, MRP , and manufacturing cost flows Experience with WAWF, IPP , or related platforms Familiarity with Power BI, Cognos , or Costpoint dashboards Prior support in engineering, MRO , or GovCon manufacturing Experience with government billing processes Excellent communication and documentation skills Additional Details Location: Huntsville, AL Salary: $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr (base pay range provided by DirectPath Recruiting Services) Onsite only; 9/80 schedule after 90 days #J-18808-Ljbffr DirectPath Recruiting Services
