Grocery Reset Team Lead

The Merchandiser Mandate Retail Service Lead is responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by leading and performing reset and remodel work, including the implementation of plan‑ograms, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, quick learner, with strong attention to detail, who works well both in a team and independently. They must possess excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners. What will you do? Serve as a team lead in the organization and execution of reset, effectively partnering with store personnel for the scheduling and communication of reset. Read and follow a plan‑ogram to effectively complete reset; have a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology. Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags, checking date codes and plan‑ogram integrity, and processing packouts, restocks and reorders as necessary. Partner with store personnel and co‑workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship. Report and discuss observations and issues with the immediate supervisor. Work with web‑based applications to indicate work availability, check schedules for work assignments, accept assignments, receive documentation, record work start and completion times, record mileage and expenses, record attendance, and complete training activities. Prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset. Perform the job safely by demonstrating full awareness of surroundings, utilizing proper safety techniques and equipment, and proactively alerting management to any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries. Understand and follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 2 years of customer‑service experience preferred; prior sales agent, retail and reset responsibility experience preferred. Strong demonstration of core competencies, including quality commitment, attention to detail, customer service, and effective communication skills. Comfortable utilizing technology such as smartphones and handheld devices. Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds. Willingness and ability to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods. Ability to operate or learn to operate a computer, calculator, telephone, and copier; ability to stand on a step stool. Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision‑making, and leadership skills; ability to read and communicate effectively with others. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a car.
