About this Job Medstar Health is looking for a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. This full‑time position offers a limited‑time $25,000 sign‑on bonus and a hiring range of USD $35.68 - USD $58.84 per hour. The schedule is Friday 7am‑11pm, Saturday 7am‑3pm, and Sunday 7am‑11pm. Qualifications Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and certified to perform diagnostic CTs. Training in computer‑assisted tomography and completion of a certified CT program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Associate’s degree preferred. Primary Duties Perform CT techniques and examinations (abdominal, retroperitoneal, obstetric, gynecology). Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs and record patient history. Explain routine procedures to patients and address concerns. Perform IV access and contrast injections per departmental policy. Request and order supplies to maintain inventory. Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and appropriateness. Ensure quality images and operate equipment as directed. Assist with patient transport to the CT room and maintain the room for daily activities. Participate in competency validation for relevant populations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
