CT Technologist

Role: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist responsible for operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images following physician orders and protocols. Key Responsibilities Operate CT equipment, select appropriate technical factors, and perform IV access and contrast administration. Support invasive procedures under CT guidance and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Maintain a safe, clean environment, prepare patient rooms, and ensure equipment functionality through quality control. Communicate effectively with patients, verify orders, explain procedures, and process images for interpretation. Document activities, support patient education, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or accredited radiologic technology certificate. ARRT registration in Radiography, Maryland/Virginia radiographer license, and BCLS/CPR certification within 90 days. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and imaging physics. Strong communication, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.
