CT Technologist II

Role Overview As a CT Technologist II, you will deliver safe, high-quality imaging care in a team-focused, patient-centered environment. Your responsibilities include executing clinical CT procedures across diverse patient populations, selecting appropriate technical parameters, and adhering to radiation safety principles to reduce dose. You will assist with invasive procedures, manage equipment quality control, and ensure a clean, sterile work environment. Key Duties Perform age-appropriate imaging, IV access, contrast administration, and invasive procedures under CT guidance. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, training, and workflow optimization to enhance patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring understanding and comfort, and document care activities accurately. Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe environment, following protocols and regulatory standards. Prioritize patient flow and coordinate care through clear communication with care teams and families. Apply comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and CT principles, while complying with organizational and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or higher and a certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program. ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, or NMTCB certification in CT. Less than 1 year of CT experience required; successful completion of a CT certification or cross-training preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification. Successful completion of a CT training program or 10+ years of CT experience for internal candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
