CT Technologist II

Role Overview This position involves performing high-quality CT imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate technical factors, adhering to radiation dose reduction principles, assisting with invasive procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The technologist communicates effectively with patients and care teams, documents activities accurately, and operates equipment reliably. They also participate in performance improvement initiatives and training activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or higher; certification from recognized radiologic or CT accrediting bodies Less than 1 year of CT experience required, or 6 months minimum experience with successful completion of a CT certification or cross-training program Registered by ARRT in Radiography and CT or NMTCB in CT Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, patient positioning, and care techniques Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification Minimum of 6 months to 10 years of CT experience depending on internal status Key Duties Execute clinical CT procedures across patient populations Participate in quality and safety initiatives and contribute to staff training Transport, prepare, and communicate with patients effectively during imaging Ensure proper equipment operation and quality control Maintain professional conduct aligned with organizational values and ethics #J-18808-Ljbffr
