MRI Technologist II

Role Overview The MRI Technologist II performs routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures, demonstrating clinical competency across all locations and patient populations. They select appropriate technical factors, administer contrast, support invasive procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort through effective communication and education. Responsibilities include maintaining MRI safety protocols, managing departmental supplies, conducting quality assurance activities, and troubleshooting equipment issues. They coordinate patient care, document activities accurately, and act professionally in accordance with ethical standards. The role requires independent protocol performance, adherence to regulatory standards, and active participation in performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s degree or higher; certification in Radiologic Technology or MRI from an accredited program 3–4 years of MRI experience; ability to perform all MRI protocols independently Licenses & Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS); ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) required upon hire Experience with MRI physics, anatomy, patient positioning, and safety standards Key Duties Perform and support MRI procedures, ensuring quality and safety Support invasive and contrast-enhanced procedures Maintain safety protocols and environmental controls Manage supplies, equipment quality control, and troubleshooting Coordinate patient flow, communicate effectively, and document care activities Provide patient education and support, ensuring comfort and understanding Participate in departmental improvements and training activities Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards #J-18808-Ljbffr CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC.
