MRI Technologist II

Role: MRI Technologist II responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures in a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Conducts MRI scans, selecting appropriate technical factors and supporting invasive procedures under MRI guidance. Maintains safety protocols, screens patients, and ensures proper positioning to prevent burns and artifacts. Participates in quality improvement, performs equipment quality control, and manages departmental supplies. Communicates effectively with patients, educates them on procedures, and documents care activities. Supports training, adheres to regulatory standards, and escalates issues as needed. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or accredited MRI certification. 3-4 years of MRI experience, with ability to independently perform protocols. ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required; BLS certification upon hire. Knowledge of anatomy, MRI physics, and patient care; ability to work under stress.
