Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed General Medicine unit serving a variety of disease processes across Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal systems
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility float policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must comply with facility float policy
• Maximum of 40 hours of requested time off per 13-week contract; no time off approved around Labor Day; all RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted per unit mileage rule)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (preferred, not required)
• BSN degree preferred
• Experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions across multiple body systems
