You are accountable for delivering high-quality meals while managing food costs, labor, and kitchen systems. You model professionalism and inspire your team to work with purpose, urgency, and pride./ppThis role involves direct leadership of a large portion of our team and serves as the main point of food production for our guests. Youll work closely with both front-of-house and support teams across multiple levels of the organization./ppThe Assistant Culinary Experience Manager reports to the Culinary Experience Manager./ppCore Responsibilities:/pulliLead the daily execution of food preparation and kitchen operations/liliLead by example in all areas of kitchen execution including prepping, cooking, and expo to set the standard for quality, urgency, and professionalism/liliEnsure all food served meets Impacts quality, presentation, and consistency standards/liliMaintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen that meets all health and safety regulations/liliManage and oversee prep lists, production schedules, and service flow/liliAssist with scheduling and labor management to align with sales forecasts and budgets/liliCoach, train, and develop kitchen staff; promote a culture of accountability and learning/liliUphold and reinforce SOPs for food production, inventory, and sanitation/liliSupport recruitment and onboarding of kitchen talent; participate in evaluations and progressive discipline where necessary/liliTrack and report on kitchen KPIs such as food cost, labor cost, and waste/liliCollaborate with senior leaders and culinary stakeholders on new menu items, recipe development, and production rollouts/li/ulpSkills Qualifications:/pulliCulinary Degree from a recognized Institute or equivalent experience/liliMinimum 3 years of progressive kitchen management experience/liliProven success managing food and labor costs in a high-volume kitchen/liliComprehensive knowledge of food production, cost controls, sanitation, and kitchen safety/liliStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills/liliExperience in training and developing culinary staff/liliAbility to ensure and train on consistency, quality, and plate presentation/liliFlexible availability including weekends and holidays; willingness to work extended hours when needed/liliCommissary or multi-location experience considered an asset/liliAbility to lift over 20 lbs and remain active during long shifts/liliNY FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED/li/ulpInclusivity at Impact:/ppImpact Kitchen serves a diverse community and is made stronger by a diverse team.
