Job Description
Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry and customer standards. Manage internal, customer, and regulatory audits while driving timely resolution of findings and corrective actions. Oversee non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence. Provide leadership and technical support to quality inspectors and technicians across manufacturing operations. Ensure incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet required specifications and quality standards. Champion Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve performance. Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection records, and full product traceability. Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to embed quality throughout the manufacturing process. Support supplier quality initiatives, including assessments, investigations, and corrective action management. Analyse and report quality performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline. Proven quality leadership experience within aerospace, defence, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, AS9102 and NADCAP standards. Experience supporting regulatory requirements such as FAA and/or EASA. Expertise in GD&T and advanced quality tools including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, APQP, and SPC. Working knowledge of ERP and Quality Management System software. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) and/or Six Sigma Green Belt qualifications are highly desirable.
