Minimum Training and Education Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, and climbing stairs; ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures; ability to work from elevated, confined, and cramped spaces; ability to perform kneeling, bending, twisting, squatting, and pinching operations; ability to use hands and fingers for fine and gross manipulation; ability to reach overhead and perform repetitive motions; ability to use lower extremities for balance; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and other lifting tasks; ability to maintain vision, hearing, and tactile senses; ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and in latex-safe environments; maintenance of olfactory sense where required; qualification for respirator use for selected positions.
