Qualifications: A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. A valid medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. Eligibility for board certification. Completion of at least one year in an accredited graduate medical education internship. Completion of an orthopedic surgery training program. Aged between 21 and 42 years (with waivers considered on an individual basis). Must be a U.S. citizen.
