Do you have more than a year of technical assembly experience with precision measurements needed? Do you have more than a of material handling experience with heavy lifts? If so, this may be the job for you.

Assembly Tech / Material Handler
2nd shift / Mon-Friday/ 3pm - 11:30pm
Training will be on 1st shift
$16/hour
Furman University Area - Greenville, SC

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced and dependable Technical Assembly / Material Handler on behalf of our client in Greenville, SC.
We are looking for individuals who can complete detailed assembly and complete quality checks with precision measuring while keeping areas clean & safe.

Assembly / Material Handler responsibilities include:

• Operate machines efficiently to ensure a high-quality finished product
• Perform Visual inspections
• Be familiar with each machine and be prepared for alterations in running characteristics before a major breakdown occurs
• Use gauges to verify for part height accuracy
• Ensure that parts are feeding into the machines correctly
• Keep areas clean & safe
• Operate Scanners
• Load the hoppers and reels
• Label and stack finished production on skids
• Complete product run change overs
• Verify specifications of part being assembled
• Checking and setting the part counter

Assembly / Material Handler requirements include:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• General mathematical aptitude
• Ability to match numbers accurately
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Maintaining concentration while working in a noisy environment
• Read and understand written instructions and follow oral instructions
