The Sales Assistant / Secretary / Title Clerk supports the sales team and customers in an automotive dealership environment. Reporting to the Sales Manager and General Manager, this role coordinates front-desk service and frequent phone and email communication while managing sales administration, documentation, payments, and title-related processes. Opportunities for advancement may include sales administration, title department leadership, sales representation, or office management.
Responsibilities
Provide sales support and front-desk customer service.
Coordinate appointments and phone communications.
Prepare and manage sales documents, files, and records.
Process title applications, lien releases, registration paperwork, and ownership transfers.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain customer and dealership records.
Manage incoming phone and email inquiries.
Process payments and maintain related documentation.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in sales administration.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
Data entry and document management experience.
Automotive title processing experience.
Administrative support experience.
Strong written communication skills.
