We need a sympathetic problem solver who can be there for employees and help them work through various situations and concerns. You'll lead effective recruitment efforts across multiple locations (including attending career fairs), helping bring new talent to the team by performing applicant sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pre-employment tests.As new hires join, you'll lead orientation, clearly explain benefit plans, and collaborate with management to conduct required safety and operational training. You'll answer questions, communicate company policies, and help investigate/resolve concerns if needed. Beyond recruitment and onboarding, you'll assist employees with payroll issues, workers' compensation, control claims, and additional problems if they come up. You'll maintain accurate, compliant records (OSHA, DOT, employment, etc.) and assist with other responsibilities as needed to maintain a comfortable and productive environment!What We Need From Our Human Resources Representative:BA or BS degree1+ years of HR administration experienceIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)Effective verbal and written English communication skillsComfort communicating with members at all levels of the organizationAbility to appropriately handle confidential informationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPhysical ability to lift/move 25 lbs.PHR certification would be a bonus!
