Chemical OperatorThis position involves running and monitoring chemical processing equipment in a plant environment. The Chemical Operator oversees full production cycles, maintains equipment performance, and ensures all tasks follow established procedures and safety practices.ResponsibilitiesChemical Operator responsibilities include:Operate various chemical processing units such as reactors, pumps, centrifuges, filtration systems, distillation units, and extraction equipmentLoad and unload raw materials, intermediates, and finished productsMonitor controls, gauges, and instrumentation throughout production cyclesMake adjustments to valves and system settings based on readings and reactionsFollow documented procedures to maintain safe and consistent operationWork around corrosives, acids, and other chemical substances using proper PPE, including a respiratorMaintain a clean and efficient work area and support general mechanical tasksPreferred Experience & SkillsPreferred experience and skills for Chemical Operator include:Background in chemical handling or productionComfortable wearing a respiratorMechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipmentExperience working around corrosives and acidsStrong attention to detail and safetyReliable, adaptable, and able to follow step-by-step proceduresAdditional DetailsAdditional details for the Chemical Operator position include:Interviews will be conducted directly with the supervisorPay range: $24–$25 per hour
