Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist eager to make a meaningful difference in an elementary school setting near Hudson, NY. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students’ educational experience and functional independence
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve students’ goals
- Conduct assessments, prepare documentation, and maintain ongoing communication regarding progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of New York
- Experience in a school-based pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and educational best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping students build confidence and achieve developmental milestones
Position Details:
- Full contract spanning the 2026-2027 school year (September 3, 2026 – June 24, 2027)
- Consistent schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serving elementary school students in a collaborative, supportive academic environment
- Competitive pay range of $45-50 per hour, with weekly pay cycles
