Must-Have Requirements

✅ Active WI RN License
✅ BLS (AHA or ARC)

✅ Lives more than 50 miles from Wausau, WI
✅ Comfortable floating to all inpatient units

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Trauma Level II experience
⭐ Previous travel experience
⭐ Experience in a fast-paced acute care setting
⭐ Strong teamwork and adaptability

Unit Overview

MAP Unit (Medical Acute Patient Unit)

Common Adult Diagnoses:

• Respiratory illnesses
• Stroke
• Seizure disorders
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Chronic back pain
• GI disorders
• Diabetic management
• Renal failure
• UTI and urinary disorders
• Sepsis
• Wound care
• Clotting disorders
• Infectious diseases
• Alcohol withdrawal

Ratios

• Days: 1:4–5
• Nights: 1:6–7

Schedule

• 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 48 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
• OT after 48 hours worked
• Every Other Weekend
• Every Other Holiday
