Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, Every Other Weekend

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Active NH or Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of experience in acute care setting
• Experience with advanced telemetry
• EMR experience preferred: Cerner
• Ability to manage Cardizem and Insulin drips, and Phenobarbital on telemetry

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and patient safety initiatives.

Compliance / Notes:

RTO must be included at time of submission. Background checks and drug screens may be required.
