Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,140 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Job Summary: An ICU Nurse position is available in Chandler, Arizona. The role involves providing critical care in a surgical, medical, or cardiovascular intensive care unit within a healthcare facility setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. Job Details Location: Chandler, Arizona Shift Hours: 12‑hour night shifts Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 Start Date: 06/22/2026 Required Qualifications : License to submit; current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification; 3 years of recent ICU experience with at least 2 years in an ICU setting; clinical experience includes ICU, medical ICU, medical cardiac ICU, or cardiovascular ICU; experience must include titrating drips such as Propofol, fentanyl, versed, precedex, morphine, dilaudid, ketamine, rocuronium, levophed, vasopressin, cardene, labetalol, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin and insulin. Experience or Skills Preferred: Ability to interpret own electrocardiogram strips; familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system. Schedule: Self‑scheduling with potential shift balancing by the manager as needed. Weekend Requirements: Three weekend shifts per four‑week schedule; weekend nights are Friday and Saturday; weekend days are Saturday and Sunday. Holiday Requirements: May have one holiday off per assignment. Floating: May float to tele during shifts with a ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 as necessary. Additional Information: May have up to one holiday off; unit may require floating to sister units; orientation period of 1‑2 days. Special Notes: The candidate must be comfortable with first‑time traveler assignments, and prior experience in a similar‑sized ICU is preferred. No neuro experience is required but is a plus.
