Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing physical therapy services within a vibrant school community. This part-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students from kindergarten through 8th grade, supporting their growth and development in an educational setting. The assignment covers both the upcoming summer school session and the following school year, providing continuity for your students and schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized and group physical therapy for K-8 students
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in coordination with education staff
- Conducting evaluations and documenting progress aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and school teams to promote student success
- Participating in meetings as needed to support student programming
Desired qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- School-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with children of varied ages and abilities
- Experience writing and reviewing IEPs preferred
This contract role averages 4 hours per week and is well-suited for professionals seeking a flexible, impactful opportunity. The assignment runs from July 7th to July 30th, 2026 for summer school, and then continues through the academic year from August 24th, 2026 to June 11th, 2027.
