Sr. Clinical Portfolio Manager, Speech Therapy

Opportunity Overview:

Cohere Health is seeking a detail-oriented and outcomes-driven Senior Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of one of our new Speech Therapy Program. Reporting to VP, Clinical Programs, each Senior Clinical Program Manager will be responsible for managing a specific program’s operations and outcomes, ensuring delivery aligns with Cohere’s strategic objectives, client commitments, and member impact. Working closely with a Business Analyst for data support and reporting, the Senior Program Manager will serve as the central coordinator across Clinical Strategy, Clinical Operations, Analytics, and Client Success.

This role is ideal for an innovative leader who can manage the details of program execution while keeping sight of long-term outcomes — ensuring that program delivery is consistent, measurable, and continuously improving.

What you’ll do:

• Program Development, Execution & Coordination:
• • Own the day-to-day management of the speech therapy program, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and milestones are achieved
  • Translate program-level strategy and roadmap (set by VP of Clinical Programs and Clinical Strategy Physician) into tactical plans, initiatives, and workstreams to continue to drive program innovation
  • Own and maintain the program’s rolling 18-month roadmap
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with enabling teams (Strategy Physicians, Operations, Analytics, Client Success, Finance)
  • Ensure consistency of program management practices and adherence to internal SLAs
• Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Track key performance metrics (e.g., clinical accuracy, denial/approval trends, turnaround time, MedEx savings, quality measures)
  • Partner with Business Analyst to gather, interpret, and present data-driven insights
  • Monitor program dashboards and ensure data integrity in performance reporting
  • Proactively monitor performance and provide guidance / context to the Business Analyst in terms of root cause analysis approach
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and escalate risks or blockers to the VP, Clinical Programs
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement across processes, clinical operations, and technology
  • Collaborate with Business Analyst and Analytics to design data-informed solutions
  • Support development of program playbooks, operational guides, and process enhancements
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for assigned program, ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders
  • Support client-facing meetings and materials in partnership with VP, Clinical Programs and Client Success
  • Ensure readiness for external program reviews (e.g., QBRs, program updates)
  • Interface with clients directly as needed in partnership with clinical success regarding detailed clinical program needs

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field preferred. Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• 7+ years in clinical practice + program or project management, preferably in utilization management, or healthcare technology
• Proven success in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact
• Experience collaborating with analytics teams and interpreting data to inform decision-making
• Strong organizational and execution skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset with ability to Interpret data into actionable insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at presenting findings to diverse stakeholders
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable; comfortable operating in a matrixed environment
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, payer operations, and value-based care models preferred

The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
