Surgical Tech II

This role involves assisting the surgical team under supervision by performing technical duties in the operating or procedural environment. Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Surgical Technician from an accredited program is mandatory. At least one year of surgical technician experience is preferred, with a preference for one year of surgical tech experience. Certification requirements include certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, the National Center for Competency Testing, or completion of a U.S. Military or Public Health Service Surgical Technology Program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire, with only one certification needed.
