Vascular Surgery Physician

A leading regional medical center in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a Locums Vascular Surgery Physician to provide call coverage and support an established vascular surgery program. This role involves serving Southern Idaho and surrounding communities within a mature and well-supported vascular service. The physician will work alongside experienced advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary hospital teams, benefiting from a strong referral network, dedicated vascular clinic and laboratory, and full operating room capabilities. Practice Info Established Vascular Surgery Clinic and Vascular Laboratory Strong referral network serving Southern Idaho Mature vascular surgery program with comprehensive support Full operating room capabilities and equipment to support all aspects of vascular surgery Dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants providing daily support Collaborative relationships with hospitalists, intensivists, emergency medicine physicians, and trauma services Responsibilities Provide vascular surgery call coverage for the Emergency Department Evaluate and manage urgent vascular surgery consultations Assess and treat urgent clinic referrals Perform vascular surgical procedures as clinically indicated Collaborate with advanced practice providers on patient care and follow-up Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary care coordination Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Compensation Generous (above market) hourly rate All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate Benefits Med-mal and tail insurance covered Personal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts Requirements MD or DO required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship or integrated vascular surgery training program Active Idaho medical license preferred or ability to obtain Current DEA registration required Current ACLS and BLS certifications preferred
