Paint Prep TechnicianBridgman, Michigan - Posted on August 17, 2026 Published By Candi HardyTrillium Staffing is hiring for an Industrial Paint Prep associate in Bridgman, MI!The Industrial Paint Prep associate will clean and prepare chassis and fixtures for painting, using air-powered sandblasting and other tools and equipment.Essential DutiesPerform paint prep duties using air-powered equipment, grinder, needle-guns and other hand toolsAbrade surfaces of the metalInspects items to be painted for proper weldsMark all mis-welds and any other quality deviations foundDisassemble paint and sandblasting equipment and clean equipmentOperate and use related equipment and tool (forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders, hand tools, & tape measure)Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions and proceduresMaintain a safe and clean working environmentHours are 6 am - 2:30 pm, currently working 10 hours per day. There will be some Saturdays, 6 am to 11:30 am. Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour.Qualifications: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. High School diploma or GED required. Relevant and recent working experience in the industrial paint environment preferred.
