The UPS Store - Store Manager oversees daily store operations, leads the team, ensures world-class customer service, manages finances, and drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Open and close the store, manage workflows, and ensure smooth, efficient operations
• Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and train staff to deliver peak performance and exceptional customer service
• Customer Service: Maintain high standards of service, resolve customer issues, and foster a positive shopping environment
• Financial Management: Monitor expenses, control costs, interpret financial reports, and provide daily/weekly/monthly reports to the franchise owner
• Marketing & Business Development: Develop and implement store marketing programs, promote store offerings, and increase foot traffic while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and adheres to safety and operational standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Post-high school education or college coursework is preferred
• Experience: Minimum of two years in retail store operations, including personnel and financial management
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Internet applications
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities; ability to motivate a team
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50–75+ lbs.
• Personality Traits: Outgoing, dynamic, and capable of fostering a positive team environment
