Purpose of the Job

This role supports the Director of Worship Development across all core initiatives, administrative responsibilities, and operational needs. The position is focused on onboarding Dream Team members into the development pathway while helping define, communicate, and execute clear processes and expectations for new team members.

This role also supports leadership development initiatives through coordination of team nights, rehearsals, mentorship programs, leader communication, scheduling, and 1:1 connections with prospective Highlands College leaders and Dream Team participants. In addition, this role provides ongoing administrative and organizational support for both the Worship Development Team and the Campus Worship Team.

Experience and Knowledge Required

Experience in music directing and leading worship in a church environment

Proficiency in musical training

Proficiency in music production software (Ableton, ProTools, Logic)

Ability to compose, produce, arrange, and record music

Ability to lead a band and help create worship experiences

Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Strong administrative, scheduling, and coordination abilities

Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and communication workflows simultaneously

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Serve on Worship team for services, rehearsals, and events

Work alongside the Director of Worship Development in developing onboarding processes for Dream Team and Highlands College leaders

Assist in communicating the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Worship Department to new and developing leaders

Help create a culture of next-generation investment by supporting leadership development opportunities for new team members

Coordinate team nights, rehearsals, development gatherings, and schedules for new leaders

Support the development and coordination of mentorship programs and leader follow-up communication

Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, meeting preparation, and organizational planning for Worship Development initiatives

Maintain and organize onboarding documents, communication systems, leader tracking, and development processes

Provide administrative and operational support for the Campus Worship Director and Campus Worship Team as needed

Help facilitate communication between Worship Development leaders, Campus Worship leaders, Dream Team members, and Highlands College students

Support department projects, event preparation, and operational needs as assigned
