Payroll Manager

Seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead multi-state payroll processing and benefits administration for a complex workforce. This role ensures payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective oversight of health and retirement programs while serving as a trusted partner to employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end, multi-state payroll for union and non-union employees Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and wage laws Administer health, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs Manage payroll tax filings, year-end reporting, and reconciliations Serve as primary contact for payroll/benefits inquiries and drive process improvements Qualifications 3+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience Multi-state payroll expertise required Strong knowledge of payroll tax, wage & hour, ERISA, ACA, and COBRA compliance Experience with major HRIS/payroll platforms Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
