As a Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
