Automation Engineer

Job Summary Design, build, and maintain systems for managed services operations. Develop production-grade automations and integrations across PSA, RMM, documentation, identity, and AI platforms. Work in a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in Phoenix, AZ office). Job Description Automation Engineer Location Phoenix, AZ (On-site, Remote) Key Responsibilities Design and build automated workflows using Rewst, Azure Functions, and serverless integrations with Python, PowerShell, and TypeScript. Integrate platforms such as ConnectWise Manage, Microsoft Graph, IT Glue, NinjaRMM, Pax8, SentinelOne, and other MSP tools through APIs. Contribute to internal Node.js services, dashboards, and web tooling for automation visibility and scalability. Support development of AI-powered features including RAG over documentation, AI-assisted ticket triage, and document processing. Test, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain automation solutions in production environments. Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value manual processes and prioritize automation initiatives. Maintain documentation for automations, integrations, and operational procedures. Qualifications 3+ years building automations, integrations, or backend services with Python, PowerShell, or TypeScript. Experience with REST/JSON APIs, including authentication, pagination, and error handling. Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Proficiency with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with platforms like Rewst, ConnectWise Manage, IT Glue, NinjaRMM, or related MSP technologies. Interest or experience with AI-powered systems, LLM‑backed features, or RAG workflows.
