To be eligible for the GS-12, you must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this grade would include: administering a Law Enforcement Coordination program among Federal, state, and/or local law enforcement agencies by performing the following types of duties: analyzing law enforcement organization informational and resource needs; coordinating and/or conducting meetings with law enforcement subject-matter specialists and federal, state and local officials; developing written materials regarding law enforcement programs, initiatives, or innovations; and organizing and presenting training programs, workshops, and other meetings addressing law enforcement/criminal justice needs. analyzing law enforcement organization informational and resource needs; coordinating and/or conducting meetings with law enforcement subject-matter specialists and federal, state and local officials; developing written materials regarding law enforcement programs, initiatives, or innovations; organizing and presenting training programs, workshops, and other meetings addressing law enforcement/criminal justice needs.
