As a Security Officer - Medical Facility Patrol in Poway, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location, where you will welcome visitors, support access screening activities, and help promote a calm, professional environment. This role blends customer service, communication, and technology use while supporting security-related operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or screening protocols at a healthcare location, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points by verifying authorization, checking credentials when required, and directing individuals according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to post procedures.
• Monitor access points, waiting areas, and/or assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized entry, identify concerns, and report issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations when required by the post, noting hazards, access concerns, and/or policy violations for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
