Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical providers, the RN offers pre-operative and post-operative nursing support, acting as an advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Carry out procedures or functions as directed by the medical provider.
• Document care administration in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 7 days of starting employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
