Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life. Responsibilities: Answer phones, electronic scheduling/ Posting, verify insurance benefits, collect copay, faxing/filling Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment Instruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients practicing exercises or functional activities, under the direction of therapy staff Change linens, such as bedsheets and pillowcases Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment Team player attitude, energetic, excellent customer service. Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress Record and document patient care services Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care Qualifications: Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related fields Ability to handle physical workload Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities The pay rate will be $$$/hour depending on experience.
