- # Medical Assistant - Medical Group PulmonaryApplylocations: NSO 2151 Waukegan Road Bannockburn: NSO 1000 Central St Evanston: SKH Skokie Medical Office Building: GBH Glenbrook Hospital Glenview: NSO 5140 N California Chicagotime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R43918**Hourly Pay Range:**$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** **Position**: Medical Assistant* **Primary Location**: Bannockburn, IL* **Full Time/Part Time**: Per Diem (as needed)* **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM* **Required Trave**l: Float to support clinical operations across all Pulmonary Sites: Bannockburn, Skokie, Glenview, Evanston & Chicago**What you will do:*** Greet patients and escort them to exam room* Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit* Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight* Provide front office support as needed* Phlebotomy and giving injections varies based on the specialty**What you will need:*** **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.* **Certification:** CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required.* **Experience**: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
