Operations Manager

Sonilo is a VC-backed AI music generation company building the next generation of soundtrack creation for video. Founded in Silicon Valley, Sonilo helps creators, brands, and platforms instantly generate original music that understands a video’s content, pacing, and exact duration — eliminating the need for manual editing, stock music searching, or beat matching. From short-form social content to cinematic storytelling, Sonilo enables anyone to turn silent videos into finished content in seconds through AI-powered music generation built for modern creators.

We are looking for someone to help grow and operate our global AI product. This role covers content operations, community/user operations, and product operations. You will help us discover the right user groups and content verticals, improve user retention, and drive user growth and paid conversion.

Responsibilities

• Plan and grow our social media presence across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X.
• Create viral and high-performing content through content testing, trend tracking, challenge campaigns, and creator/outsourcing collaboration.
• Explore which content categories and user groups fit the product best, and turn successful cases into repeatable strategies.
• Build and manage the core user community (Discord) from 0 to 1.
• Manage users throughout their lifecycle, listen closely to user feedback, and improve user engagement and paid conversion.
• Work closely with marketing and product/engineering teams to continuously improve the product based on user feedback, competitor research, and data insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; majors related to Marketing, Media, Communications, or New Media are preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in internet or tech operations; experience with global products or AI products is a plus.
• Familiar with mainstream social media platforms and content trends, with hands-on experience operating platforms like TikTok or Instagram.
• Passionate about the generative AI industry and familiar with major AI products and user communities globally.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and global pop culture, trends, and online content.
• Strong analytical skills, and able to identify problems and opportunities through data.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and good at collaborating across teams, time zones, and multiple ongoing projects.
